Everything your dog needs to thrive – physically, mentally, and behaviourally.
Stay informed with consistent photo and video updates so you can see your dog's progress.
To support your dog's training, we include daily exercise and playtime to keep them physically fit, mentally stimulated, and balanced.
Each programme is customised to your dog's behaviour, needs, and your lifestyle.
No second guessing – I'm available to support you once your dog returns home.
All tools are provided and introduced properly – no additional costs.
Your dog lives and trains in a real home – not in kennels. This allows training to transfer naturally back into your home.

It's not realistic for owners to replicate this level of structure, timing, and consistency at home – and that's exactly why residential training creates faster, more reliable results.
It also allows training to take place in controlled environments around dogs and people – something that's difficult to recreate on your own. This is where behaviours are properly built, reinforced, and made reliable before being taken into the real world, where distractions can't be controlled.
The right programme will be recommended based on your dog, your goals, and their current behaviour.

English Boxer
From chaotic and difficult to manage, to calm, off lead and easy to live with in just 6 weeks.
We sent our Bloodhound, Walter, to Dalia for a 4-week board and train programme, which we later extended to 6 weeks because of the incredible progress he was making. For anyone unfamiliar with Bloodhounds, their stubbornness is truly something else. They are an incredibly challenging breed, requiring a huge amount of patience, consistency, and understanding. By the age of 3, Walter’s obedience was unreliable, and our frustration was growing. This often led to reactivity towards other dogs and occasionally people, making everyday walks stressful and limiting where and when we could take him. Since completing the board and train, life has completely changed. We no longer set 5am alarms just to walk in quiet places and avoid potential triggers. We no longer fear running into challenges on our walks, and we no longer feel frustrated by not understanding Walter’s behaviour or how to help him. Instead, we confidently take him almost everywhere and have learned how to manage different environments appropriately. The biggest change has been our understanding of Walter. We no longer put pressure on ourselves or him for what a walk or day “should” look like. We have a much more relaxed and enjoyable approach, and as a result, Walter is happier, calmer, and significantly less reactive. With clear guidance and better communication from us, he is thriving. We no longer just love our dog, we are completely in love with him and genuinely enjoy every moment with him. His obedience is now incredibly reliable, and he can be off lead in most environments, including areas with livestock and wildlife, something we never imagined would be possible. Thank you, Dalia. You have genuinely changed all of our lives, and I only wish we had found you sooner. Walter now regularly boards with Dalia when we’re away because we wouldn’t trust anyone else with him. To put it into perspective, we live four hours away and would happily make the journey every single time Walter needs boarding. We cannot recommend Dalia highly enough. Thank you so much again for helping us, we’ll always be forever grateful for everything & all your ongoing support
Very happy with the service provided, the dog was untrainable in my opinion but over a course of 6 weeks Dalia proved me wrong. Exceptional
I came to Dalia at a point where I felt really stuck. I knew my dog Lara needed more freedom to feel truly fulfilled — she needed to be able to run, explore, and be off lead — but I just didn't trust her recall enough to make that happen. I was constantly second-guessing myself about how to handle situations, weighed down by guilt and never quite sure I was doing the right thing. Lara was like a coiled spring — and I just didn't have the tools to know how to help her. Since working with Dalia, everything has changed. Lara is now off lead, her recall is impeccable, and that guilt and self-doubt has really lifted. Because she's now more fulfilled, so many of the unwanted behaviours I was seeing before have either completely disappeared or become much less intense. Most importantly, I now feel like we have the communication and skills to handle whatever comes our way. It's also strengthened the bond between us in a way I didn't expect. I can't recommend Dalia and Naughty Dog Training enough. If you're feeling stuck with your dog, reach out you won’t regret it.
We struggled for a while with our hound cross, who has a very high prey drive, before finding naughty dog training. It was a transformation from our very first lesson and we now enjoy off lead walks everyday. Dalia’s knowledge and experience gave us the right tools we needed to feel confident at home and outside. I would recommend Dalia to anyone who needs help no matter the issue. Thanks
My dachshund, Alfie, spent a month with Dalia to work on his reactivity, recall, and general training challenges. The difference after his time with her has been amazing — his behavior has improved so much, and we’ve continued to make great progress since he came home. Dalia didn’t just stop at the initial training; she’s also been incredibly helpful with follow-up guidance and advice for a few post-training issues. I’m really grateful for her support and would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and knowledgeable dog trainer.
I was at my last hope with my rescue reactive dog Sam when I found Dahlia and Naughty Dog training online. Dahlia immediately responded to help me with sam and came to meet us and I felt at ease right away that she understood him like I did. I just lacked the tools and communication with him. I did a board and train with Dahlia for a few weeks, and it was so worth ever penny. She kept me updated on Sam's progress and sent videos of his training. I saw he was improving and able to be trained to be nonreactive in formerly overwhelming situations for him (and me) The time with her was invaluable for us both, as I was able to decompress after moving from the US to the UK with Sam and also see once she was able to establish a language with him and he understood, he wanted to obey, and things were less confusing for him. I saw him improve immediately. When she returned Sam, she worked with us on a weekly basis or so until we were at a good place. She is an expert at what she does, pours her heart into the dogs, and really has a passion to help. I can't recommend her enough. I thought initially I would have to rehome Sam before I moved to Spain, but with Dahlia's help, Sam and I have a great relationship and trust each other more, so I am comfortable taking him with me. I will be forever grateful for her!
Your dog will stay with me as if my own, in my secluded countryside cottage, surrounded by open farmland and peaceful walking tracks. This setup is especially powerful for stressed, reactive or anxious dogs, it gives them the chance to reset their nervous system, settle into a healthy routine, and lay the foundations for lasting behavioural change.
An e-collar (short for electronic collar) is a remote training tool that lets us communicate with your dog when the lead is off. It does not work by shocking the dog, but by stimulating the muscle, making it twitch and almost tickle, the e-collars I use are using the same technology as those ab-toning machines people wear under their clothes.
I use the e-collar for safe, reliable off-lead freedom, especially for recall in open spaces. Not every dog has to use one, but if your goal is off-lead control or you have a dog with ingrained habits, reactivity, or poor recall, it’s often the best and kindest tool for the job.
If your dog isn’t ready for it, we’ll go a different route. I’ll always tailor the training to your dog.
Quick 2-week bootcamps that offer 10 different things often rely on harsh, punishment-based methods to force fast results.
I want your dog to be motivated, confident, and responsive because they understand what’s being asked, not because they’re scared of getting punished.
It takes hundreds of clear repetitions for a behaviour to become reliable, especially in real-world settings. My programs allow time to build solid foundations and reduce stress in order behaviours to stick for life.
Technically yes, but I don’t recommend it. Visits during training can confuse your dog and cause emotional setbacks. When they see you, they often assume they’re going home, which can create frustration, anxiety, or stress once you leave again.
My dogs are an essential part of the Naughty Dog system. Without them, I wouldn’t be able to offer the results I do. Dogs learn best from other dogs and mine play a key role in the process.
They’re used as calm, neutral distractions before we head out into the real world, helping to proof behaviours safely. For behavioural cases, like fear, frustration, or reactivity, being immersed in a balanced pack is one of the most powerful tools for lasting change.
I use a balanced training approach using all four quadrants of the operant learning theory. That means I use both reinforcement and fair corrections, depending on the stage of training and the dog’s understanding.
All behaviours are taught first through positive reinforcement — using food, toys, praise, leash pressure, and clear guidance. Once the dog understands what’s expected, we introduce fair consequences to build reliability, especially around distractions or in real-life situations.
Corrections are always conditioned and fair, they might be:
• A leash pop the dog understands
• A verbal correction (“ah-ah” or “no”)
• E-collar stimulation the dog has been taught to respond to
• Or even something like removing freedom, toys, or social access
Punishment doesn’t mean pain. It simply means reducing unwanted behaviour and that can be done calmly, clearly, and without shouting, intimidation, or fear.
I do not use outdated methods like:
• Shaking bottles of rocks
• Water sprays or citronella collars
• Hitting, shouting, or intimidating dogs
The aim is always clarity and confidence, not confusion. Dogs thrive when they understand what earns reward and what results in consequence. That’s how you get happy, obedient dogs who trust their handler and know exactly what’s expected of them.
While I’m not formally certified yet, I’ve studied extensively through online mentorships, dog behaviour books, podcasts, and subscription platforms like Patreon, where top-level trainers share in-depth training content. I invest in my education every single day but my real learning has come from hands-on work.
I’ve been a full-time dog trainer for five years now. I started out working for a training company, where I gained experience with board-and-train dogs from day one. About six months in, I branched out on my own and have been running my own residential programs ever since.
Since then, I’ve worked with well over 200 dogs, from anxious rescues and reactive cases to high-drive working breeds and everyday family pets.
